“Bless the Manning Family” Bowling Tournament was held today at Strike and Strike in Fountain City.
Gabe was the UPS driver involved in a horrendous accident on Ball Camp resulting in catastrophic injuries on July 6, 2023. He is known to be a great person, husband, father, neighbor and worker. The front of his shirt is #positivityGabe” and the back is “keep fighting” which reflects his spirit going forward.
The area league bowlers and UPS teams worked hard to make this a success. The Spiva families, Wendy Cox (Manager of Strike and Spare), and the bowling center’s staff donated many hours after close on Saturday night to decorate and set this up. Many others participated, but I don’t know all the names.
The family was in attendance and was very appreciative and thankful to everyone that participated in any way.

As a footnote: The scratch tournament consisted of 34 teams – and our team won! Phil & Cindy Ballard & Denise and Kevin Webb were good enough today
